The official value of the shekel rose an average of .028 percent, Monday, against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.829, up .209 percent, while the Euro declined .204 percent to 4.2464 shekels. The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.006, down .233 percent, and 100 Japanese yen dipped .979 percent to 3.7415 shekels.
