Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan told fallen soldier Hadar Goldin's father, Simcha, that he will come to the memorial service tomorrow to mark two years since Hadar's death.
"I read with sorrow the message the Goldin family put out on the matter, I decided that the correct and proper step would be to arrive at the memorial and to honor the memory of Hadar. I also spoke with the Cabinet Secretariat, and told them that I'm coming. I call on the general public to come and honor the memory of Hadar together with me, at the Kfar Saba cemetery."
The Goldin family were previously concerned that no government official would attend the ceremony, in what seemed to them a harsh apathy to Hadar Goldin's sacrifice.
