Sixty kilograms (132 pounds) of turkey and other meat were destroyed on instructions of the Health Ministry, Sunday, following an inspection of the butcher section of the Keshet Taamim grocery on Haetztadion Street in Haifa.
Inspectors found meat that had passed the expiration date, products that had been made without a license and under unsanitary conditions.
