Disabilities bill passed for second, third reading in Knesset

A bill, which would require public institutions with over 100 employees to ensure that five percent of their employees are people with disabilities, will be read in the Knesset a second and third (final) time this week.

The bill, sponsored by MKs Itzik Shmuli (Zionist Union) and Yoav Kish (Likud), will also require any public institution with over 25 workers to appoint a disabilities representative by 2017.
