The Parole Board of the Israel Prisons Service says it will decide on Thursday, whether to accept former president Moshe Katzav's application for parole.
Katzav has served nearly five years of a seven-year sentence for rape and other sex offenses. His previous application was rejected. Today's decision is predicated on court-ordered consideration of a new legal opinion.
