Knesset Chairman Yuli Edelstein, at a ceremony commemorating Ze'ev Jabotinsky:

"Everything here has become simple, superficial, 'Twittery,' if you will - short and to the point, and generally lacking patience. Have we already lost the ability to listen to others? Esteemed friends, you can't have a normal social life, nor genuine public discussion on any matter. All disagreements are turning into insults, all conversations are turning into arguments, and all discussions are turning into scuffles. If we want to be worthy of learning anything from Jabotinsky about our society, we must first stop this."
