The Knesset approved on Tuesday night the first reading of a law on food quality supervision and proper nutrition in preschools. The law was authored by MK Rachel Azaria and a group of Knesset members.
The bill imposes obligations on food providers in preschools, including compliance with the conditions prescribed by the Minister of Health regarding the composition of the food and its nutritional value.
