The Knesset Labor, Welfare and Health Committee approved, Monday, Health Ministry regulations that determine drugs and other treatments that a pharmacist can dispense without a prescription. A pharmacist will also be entitled not to give a person a treatment but provide referral to a doctor.

The regulations affect treatments with 21 active ingredients under certain conditions and restrictions. Among the conditions they treat are acne, constipation, skin inflammation, eye care, skin infections, obesity, and migraines.
