The Unilever company, which markets Telma and Pinukei Briut breakfast cereals, found bacteria - apparently salmonella - in two batches of cereal packages during a routine inspection of its assembly line on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a Thursday morning report by Yediot Ahronot.
The company destroyed the products (cornflakes and Delipecan), as required by law, and stressed that none of them made it to the public.
