In a meeting in Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein's office, attended by Merav Michaeli (Zionist Union), David Bitan (Likud), and representatives of Ahmed Tibi, Edelstein took them all to task for the partisan pot-shots taken around a budget bill set to be passed tomorrow.
"We will not arrive at a vote on the budget if this situation continues. In the end, everyone will come out damaged. I recommend everyone quit posturing and return to parliamentary activity."
By the end of the meeting, all parties agreed, and the opposition will return to the Knesset and the Finance Committee.
