Police cordoned off an area around a shopping centre in the Rosengård area of Malmö after a man was shot there on Tuesday afternoon, according to regional newspaper Sydsvenskan. An officer on the scene told the paper the victim was probably shot in the leg.
The neighborhood regulary hits the headlines over gun crimes, much of it believed to be gang related, according to thelocal website. No injuries were reported in three separate shootings in Malmö on July 18th.
