Guards at the Kalandia Crossing from the Palestinian Authority into northern Jerusalem fired at a woman who ran toward them and did not respond to their calls to stop. She was wounded in the lower extremities.
Yediot Ahronot reports a search of the woman did not turn up a knife as originally reported. Rioting directed at security personnel broke out at the scene.
