The Rishon Letzion Magistrates Court ordered, Monday, that Rabbi Eliezer Berland be released to house arrest while he is being investigated on allegations of sex offenses.
Rabbi Berland fled the country when the allegations arose and was recently extradited from South Africa. The court delayed the actual release by a day to allow the police to appeal the decision.
