Treasurer Moshe Kahlon said, Monday, that a new date has not been set for the start of broadcasting by a new corporation to replace the financially-ailing Israel Broadcast Authority (IBA).

Speaking at the start of his Kulanu party's Knesset-faction meeting, the former communications minister said he had reached agreement with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that the new corporation could start broadcasting on January 1, 2017, if it is ready. Last week, it was announced that the IBA would continue until 2018 because the new corporation was not ready.
