The Task Force in the struggle for the Samarian Jewish community of Amona called, Sunday evening, for advancement of a bill that would authorize Amona as a solution in light of a Supreme Court order to uproot the community by the end of the year.
The task force was reacting to the removal of the bill from Sunday's agenda of the Ministerial Committee on Legislation. The committee will meet on Wednesday to discuss the bill if Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit does not rule in favor of a program to use the Absentee Property Law to allow community residents to stay put until homes are ready on nearby land.
