Welfare and Social Services Minister Haim Katz (Likud) praised the passing of an employment law for people with disabilities
"It fits the economic mindset and the social and moral message of the Israeli government. The obstacles presented before a disabled person on his way to employment must be stopped. We need to better integrate them, so that they switch from a dependent population to productive citizens whom contribute to society and the state."
