Deputy Jerusalem Mayor Meir Turgeman told Yisael Hayom, Thursday, that he will work to keep a gay-pride parade from taking place in the capital next year. Calling the event unnecessary, he said he and other members of the city council would pass a resolution against the parade and go to court if necessary.
Turgeman said the march is not suitable to Jerusalem as a holy city to three religions which don't want it.
