Israel Railways announced, Thursday morning, that there will be no service in either direction on the line between Tel Aviv and the northeastern suburb of Hod Hasharon from August 3rd to the 6th. The closure affects the stations in Bnei Brak, Petach Tikva, Rosh Haayin and Kfar Saba as well as Hod Hasharon.

The closure is due to relocation of tracks and extension of passenger platforms at the central Tel Aviv train station. Also cited was the preparation of the electrical infrastructure for the operation of the high-speed rail line from Jerusalem.
