Muhammed Waseem, arrested for murdering his sister Qandeel Boloch in an "honor killing," will stand trial, after the Pakistani government forbade his family for "forgiving" him for the killing.
"Forgiveness" is a legal loophole, which allows honor killers to go free. Although the government can prevent the loophole from being used, it rarely does.
