MK Tsipi Livni (Zionist Union) bats away excuses in the decision to push off the opening of the new public broadcasting station until 2018:
"Aside from the station not being ready to go live - Netanyahu isn't ready for an independent public broadcasting station. As Justice Minister, I wrote the clauses which divide the broadcasting station from politics - yet now it becomes clear just how involved politics will be in the new station."
