Shlomo Rindenow's sister Yocheved remembered her brother as "majestic". Speaking at his funeral in Netzer Hazani, she said he always knew where he was and where he stood and that his family felt he was safe in the Israel Defense Forces because he was responsible.
His brother Baruch remembered him as figuring out what to do in any situation and if he didn't know, he would learn and take things on.
