Mayor Kip Holden of Baton Rouge told the National Broadcasting Company, Sunday, that three law-enforcement officers were killed and several others wounded "in an ambush".
Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards said the attack was unjustified and that those responsible would be brought to justice. He called on people to pray for the wounded officers.
