In a victory for Israeli politicians, the UNESCO conference pushed off a vote on the status of the Temple Mount, and ended its session.
The vote, proposed by Jordanian and Palestinian representatives, would formally divorce the Temple Mount and Western Wall Plaza from any Jewish heritage connection.
UNESCO will next meet in October.
