Police report: Around an hour ago an Arab man carrying a bag aroused the suspicions of a security guard for the Jerusalem Light Rail at the Jaffa Center Station. When he asked to examine the contents of the bag, he spotted a bomb and called teh police.
Police cordoned off the area. Sappers are still working to defuse several pipe bombs found in the bag.
The suspect, B.M., a resident of Judea-Samaria in his 20s, has been taken in for questioning.
The intersection of Yaffo St-King George St is closed to all passersby and traffic. Police suggest taking an alternate route.
