Dozens of doctors gathered, Thursday morning, at the entrance to the emergency room of Asaf Harofeh Hospital near Tel Aviv to protest a verbal and physical attack on an orthopedist by the father of a patient, Wednesday evening.
Chairman Ayal Yehezkeli of the doctors' committee said, "We won't let violence against the medical staff to take over the walls of Asaf Harofeh." Hospital management backed the doctors and said it would work with law enforcement agencies to eradicate violence.
