Hundreds of Egyptian citizens have apparently disappeared and have been tortured as part of an Egyptian government effort to eliminate its opponents, according to a new report by Amnesty International.
The report says children from the age of 14, students, political activists and demonstrators disappeared after security forces raided their homes. It also says many of them were handcuffed and blindfolded for months.
