After two individuals went on a media rampage against 8 municipal social workers, the social workers and the Tel Aviv Municipality are suing Facebook, WordPress, and Google for providing a platform for severe defamation and harrasment.
The suit demands 2 million shekels ($516,000), for the harrasment and humiliation the social workers experienced online.
The social media attacks come mainly as a response to decisions relating to removing minors from their homes.
