A new study, published in Computers in Human Behavior, maps the rumors which circulated on Whatsapp during Operation "Bring back our boys" to find the bodies of the 3 kidnapped teenagers.
The study finds that 69% of the rumors were true.
The study accuses journalists, military personnel, and emergency medical personnel of starting most of the rumors.
