The Knesset has passed a bill by Knesset member Yoav Kish (Likud) to ban incitement against those who volunteer for service in the Israel Defense Forces. The bill seeks to make the punishment equal to that for inciting against the induction of draftees.
Kish said, "Expansion of voluntary recruitment into the IDF and the security forces is a process that should be welcomed. The message here is clear: an iron wall against enemies - a tailwind for our supporters."
