Military medic Elor Azaria's battalion commander told Azaria's manslaughter trial, Tuesday, "My expectation of a company medic is that when he finishes treating a wounded soldier, he must go and treat wounded terrorists if there are no other wounded soldiers or civilians."
Azaria was caught on video killing a terrorist who had been neutralized after a stabbing attack in Hevron. Lieutenant Colonel David Shapiro was seen smiling during the hearing at a military court in Jaffa. He told the court, "I appreciate him. This morning I shook his hand and wished him success out of the genuine concern of a commander for one under his command."
