Im Tirtzu CEO Matan Peleg remarked:
“The approval of this bill into Israeli law is a breath of fresh air for Israeli democracy that will enable it to protect itself against foreign entities seeking to change the character of the State of Israel from within. Backed by foreign governmental funding, foreign-agent organizations are leading the campaign of delegitimization against Israel and the IDF through constant propaganda, lobbying, and petitioning to the Supreme Court.”
Peleg added: “Although this law is just a drop in the bucket of the parliamentary action needed to prevent the undemocratic meddling in our internal affairs, it is an important step in the right direction. Im Tirtzu will continue working to protect the citizens of Israel and the soldiers protecting us.”
