After slashing workers' hours, the world's largest coffee chain will increase base pay for all US workers by at least 5 percent on October 3, Chief Executive Howard Schultz announced in an open letter on Monday.
Starbucks will also double the annual stock reward to employees who have been working for the company for more than 2 years.
