David Cameron announced that Interior Minister Theresa May, 59, will be sworn in as Britain's next Prime Minister on Wednesday.
May, who voted to remain in the EU in last month's referendum, will lead Britain during her transition out of the EU.
May will be Britain's first female Prime Minister since Margaret Thatcher.
