The purchasing manager of the Israel Defense Forces has issued a tender for private companies to bid on providing the IDF with tire-repair services. The change will be made gradually.
The military goes through more than 10,000 thousand tires a year. The move is expected to save the Defense Ministry more than half a million shekels a year.
