Rabbi Gil'ad Kariv of the Reform movement in Israel says the movement plans to petition the Supreme Court on Sunday against Wednesday's declaration by the legal-advisor for the Religious Services' Office against mixed services for men and women at the Western Wall of the Temple in Jerusalem. Such a service was held on Thursday.
Kariv said, "We do not intend to waive our right to bring hundreds of Reform and Conservative Jews here for gatherings of song, Torah study and personal prayer."
