The Jerusalem of Gold auction house is scheduled to offer the oldest known document on the sale of the land for what is now Jerusalem's Nachalat Shiv'ah neighborhood "The Mother of Jerusalem Neighborhoods" on Wednesday. Nachalat Shiv'ah was important in the expansion of the Jewish community outside the walls of Jerusalem's Old City.

This Saturday marks the 150th anniversary of the document on the Hebrew calendar. It was written by Kabbalist Rabbi Yosef Rivlin, one of the seven landholders for whom the neighborhood is named.
