The Petach Tikva Magistrates Court issued a ruling, Tuesday, that a teenager who was banned from Judea and Samaria under administrative order must be under house arrest at night and register with police for the next 45 days, as long as the administrative order is in effect. The judge said the court was not the appropriate place to discuss the legality of the administrative order.
The decision was set aside until Wednesday to allow the attorney assigned to the boy by the Honenu legal-aid organization to appeal the decision to the district court. The boy has been going from house to house among his relatives and friends. They don't want to host him for a prolonged time because of disruptive visits by the police at all hours of the night.
