The Knesset Labour, Welfare, and Health Committee has passed the Equal Parenting Law of MK Rachel Azariya (Kulanu).
The law changes the name of "Birth Leave" (the Israeli term for maternity leave) to "Birth and Parenting Leave," and allows fathers to demand time to nurse while at work.
