General Yoav Mordechai, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), has decided not to let Governor Kamel Hamid of the Palestinian Authority's Hevron District cross the 1949 Armistice Line into other parts of Israel. The reason for the sanction is Hamid's visit to the home of the terrorist who murdered Hallel Ariel last Thursday.

Writing on COGAT's Facebook page in Arabic, General Mordechai wrote, "Visiting (terrorists') families is like agreeing to the despicable murder and encourages terror." He added that Israel will not help those support terror.
