In the wake of today's murderous attack in Kiryat Arba, Yesha Council calls for immediate approval to build a new neighborhood.
Yesha Council Chairman Avi Roeh said, "Today's terrible attack is the second terror attack in Kiryat Arba within less than a week. The Israeli government must decide on actions to uproot terrorism and the terrorist nests in Hebron, which continues to launch deadly attacks.
We must act against them decisively and immediately to deal with an environment that supports terror and incitement. Continued dialogue while ignoring incitement which calls for murder undermines the possibility of achieving peace and quiet in the area. Dealing with terrorism must come together with the determination to continue building in the spirit of Zionism. Therefore we call on the Ministry of Defense to immediately permit a new neighborhood to be built in Kiryat Arba which has already been waiting a long time for approval."
