2 apartments, one in Tel Aviv, another in Bnei Brak, which were used as drug factories, were seized by the state.

In one case, a mother and son were arrested after 16 kilo of marijuana plants were discovered in their possession. The mother was released until her trial; her son remains under house arrest until the end of the proceedings.

In the other, an apartment in Bnei Brak was siezed after another plant nursery was discovered there. The apartment's owner was also put under house arrest.

The police maintain that since both homes were used as a tools for criminal activity, they have been siezed until a decision is made on what to do with them.
