Journalist Sapir Nissani was today charged in the District Court of Petach Tikva of negligent manslaughter. Nissani had been suspected of murdering her mother by pouring boiling oil on her face and upper body when she slept.
"The decision to charge the accused of manslaughter was made after deep investigation revealed...that there is not enough evidence to prove intent...as was initially suspected." the prosecution admitted.
