MK Bezalel Smotrich (Jewish Home) announced on Wednesday night that the Cabinet will be asked to approve this coming Sunday a budget of 72 million shekels to strengthen the settlement enterprise in light of the security situation and the recent wave of terror.

"The main item for me that served as the engine to promote the proposal is the building of community resilience centers, similar to what has been very successful in communities in the Gaza Belt, for a total amount of 12 million shekels," said Smotrich.

"I wish to thank the Prime Minister and the Director-General of the Prime Minister’s Office for leading the move and bringing it to the government, Minister Bennett and his office for pushing it, ministers Ariel, Levin, Kahlon, Deri, Haim Katz and Gila Gamliel and the Yesha Council, Yossi Dagan and Yochai Damri," he added.
