Will religious sanctions be placed against imprisoned gett refusers?

The Knesset plenum approved a preliminary vote on a proposed bill to place limitations against imprisoned gett (Jewish divorce) refusers.

Among the limitations, it was suggested that the court limit the prisoner’s rights to take part in educational programs in the prison, to receive mehadrin (mre stringent kosher level) meals and to reside in the “Torani Wing.”
