Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid expressed concern on Wednesday morning following the White House’s announcement regarding the defense aid deal with Israel.
“The White House’s announcement this morning increases the need to act, while maintaining out security interests, towards signing a defense aid deal as soon as possible. I have said this publicly on multiple occasions, as well as in closed talks with relevant personalities in the US and in Israel. They should not wait for the next administration. We must not take chances when it comes to the State of Israel’s national security. We must act to restore Israel’s relations with the US.”
