Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) has commented on recent agreements reached by the Bank of Israel in advance of the Shtrum Committee's conclusions, which will be released today (Monday).
"Today we can say that, after 47 years without the creation of a new bank in Israel, we are paving the way towards creating new banks," he declared. "The agreements we have put together with the Bank of Israel over the past few days will allow historical precedents."
