The High Court decided overnight Thursday not to allow the autopsy on the body of Ilana Naveh, who was killed in the shooting attack in Tel Aviv on Wednesday.

The discussion on the issue came following a petition filed by the police, after Naveh’s family said it was opposed to an autopsy. The reason for the autopsy request is that it remains unclear whether Naveh’s death was due caused by the terrorists or for other reasons, which could affect the criminal proceedings against the terrorists.
