MK Oren Hazan said on Tuesday evening that he is certain he will not be harmed by the fact that his position as Deputy Knesset Speaker was taken from him.
“Whoever knows me and follows my work knows very well that titles and roles were never a top priority for me. For me, positions within the Knesset are work tools to use in order to fulfill the Kikud’s promise to its voters. I trust the personal promise made to me by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, that the status and the tool chest given to me to serve the Israeli public will not be harmed. I am certain that he will keep his promises.”
“I also trust that the Likud faction… will honor the faction agreement and its commitment to me,” Hazan said, slamming the decision to annul the remainder of his candidacy as Deputy Knesset Speaker.
