Police have arrested four people from northern and southern Israel, including a former Hot worker and three subcontractors. They are suspected of fraud, forgery, computer crimes and aggravated extortion.
Authorities believe that the suspects deceived over a hundred Hot subscribers, all from northern communities. They also robbed the company of more than 500,000 shekels ($131,000 US) when they established fictitious accounts and pocketed the supposed subscription money.
