UK paper: British special forces fighting ISIS in Syria

British special forces are acting in Syria and are fighting on the front lines against ISIS, the British Times reports.

According to the report, the forces are attached to units from the New Syrian Army, a rebel group acting in southeastern Syria. This is the first testimony of British troops directly involved in fighting ISIS. Until now, the UK has limited its actions to training opposition forces in neighboring Jordan and carrying out air strikes.
